      John Henrys - Chief Executive Officer

      John, a former Head of Analytics and Performance, and Executive Principal at Brooke Weston Trust has been working at Senior Trust level since 2016 with experience of working alongside the CEO, Executive Principals and senior members of the Central Team. Prior to this, John worked as the Principal of Corby Business Academy taking the school through several inspections including a successful Ofsted where the school was graded good in all areas. Under his leadership the school significantly improved and became the school of choice for children from across Corby.

      John has vast experience of working as part of a Multi Academy Trust Senior Leadership Team and has a deep understanding of data use within Multi Academy Trusts. This knowledge ensures schools are working as effectively as they can in key areas of their operation. This data knowledge also ensures that Trusts can hold themselves to account across a number of business indicators and ensures that the right resource is deployed in the right areas to support across the Trust. Over recent years, John has led on multiple Trust wide projects to ensure that schools have remained on the forefront of technology supported learning and ensuring that Trusts are putting the right systems in place to secure sustainable improvements across their schools. This project work has also led to his involvement in the development of governance processes in order to improve the lines of accountability and ensure compliance across all areas.

    • Michelle Plumtree - Chief Financial Officer

      Michelle Plumtree - Chief Financial Officer

      Michelle is a knowledgeable and experienced finance professional who leads on all aspects of finance, both strategically and operationally across the Learning without Limits Academy Trust. Michelle works closely with the CEO, Central Trust Team, Principals and school level finance teams to ensure effective financial leadership and management across the Trust in line with the Academies Financial Handbook.

      Michelle has a background and proven track record in financial management and has worked within the education sector for the last 10 years. During this time Michelle has developed innovative reports including a pupil premium tracker and integrated curriculum financial planning reporting combining the planning of the curriculum with the budgeting process. The evaluation of these reports has enabled leadership teams to make informed decisions and assess operational risks and effectiveness whilst ensuing the resources required for school improvement and other long term developments are deployed.

      Michelle understands the importance of providing consistent financial reporting information across the Trust whilst ensuring local needs and interests are meet.

      Michelle has a passion for producing engaging reports for multiple stakeholders which enable planning, benchmarking and decision making. Michelle believes in creating a culture of value for money to transform pupil outcomes and experiences during their school years.

    • Abigail Evans - Chief Operating Officer

      Abigail Evans - Chief Operating Officer

      Abigail is a Fellow of the Institute of School Business Leaders and holds the Level 7 CIPFA qualification in School Financial and Operational Leadership. After gaining a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design Abigail worked as a Design and Project Manager in the marketing industry for 10 years before retraining and obtaining her Certificate of School Business Management (CSBM). She began a second career, in education, and has worked in schools over the last 10 years. An experienced SBM in an Outstanding Special School Abigail was instrumental in the setting up a new Special School and Pupil Referral Unit Multi-Academy Trust. Abigail become Chief Operating Officer for the LwLAT in June 2019.

      Abigail has been a parent governor at a pre-school, primary and secondary school over the last 14 years and is passionate about ensuring children from all backgrounds have access to good quality education, giving them the best chance to succeed.

    • David Goulding - Director of IT & Communications

      David Goulding - Director of IT & Communications

      David originally joined Lancaster Academy in 2015 as IT Manager part way through the Building Schools for the Future Programme. Originally from a customer service background, he strives to ensure that all users receive the best levels of service. In 2017 he joined the Extended Senior Leadership Team at Lancaster, leading on marketing and admissions and supporting in behaviour and safeguarding using his technical ability to streamline processes and improve ways to present and use data to create a positive impact.

      David entered the sector of IT-Education in 2010 via the apprenticeship route with a particular interest in network infrastructure. He has gone on to become an experienced Senior Leader and Project Manager with Prince 2 and Agile certifications. He has led on a range of projects from IT development and refresh to rebrands and marketing campaigns. Developing future talent in the IT world and growing the next generation of leaders are areas that he is committed to.

      David has a passion for ensuring that every child gets the best educational experience possible. In support of this, he is Vice-Chair of governors across the Phoenix Federation in his home city, which supports around a thousand primary school children.
