Woodstock Primary Academy Year 4 Residential Trip

Year 4's at Woodstock Primary Academy had a fantastic residential trip to Kingswood! The children were pushed to their limits and conquered fears! Year 4 were brilliant ambassadors for Woodstock Primary Academy and showed resilience throughout.

The trip began with bushcraft and firelighting activities and some groups explored the wildlife in the ponds. After dinner, children took part in the scrap heap challenge before showcasing dance moves at the disco.

Day 2 was jam-packed! Our pupils took on high adrenaline zip lines, created Flintstones inspired buggies during a buggy build task, and tested their accuracy in archery - with lots of children managing to hit a bullseye! The remaining groups explored the ponds and used classification keys to identify all sorts of wildlife! During the evening activities, Year 4 reflected on their trip and competed against other teams in campfire songs. Marshmallows and a hot chocolate before bed were enjoyed!

On the final day, they tackled problem solving activities before conquering the high ropes! We are so proud of our children. Well done Woodstock Year 4!
